Jax came to Happy Tails as an owner surrender.

He is good with dogs with proper introductions and good with kids, but he is not good with cats.

Jax is a bit timid at first but once he’s comfortable he is very sweet and snuggly 

and really likes to be on the couch with you. 

He is loyal and protective and loves to please his people. He listens very well!

He is house trained and does ok in the kennel but it's not his favorite place. 

He prefers to sleep in bed with his humans.

Jax likes to play with other dogs and with toys. He's leashed trained and likes to go for walks but can be reactive to other dogs while on leash so will need someone will to work with him on that. 

He gets a little nervous in the car.

The best home for Jax is with someone home more often than not. He would be ok as an only dog or with another dog. He will bark when left alone, so no homes with shared walls or apartments.
